I'm going to try to squeeze in a few sentences (hopefully paragraphs) before I go to sleep tonight!

Have to finish my other requirements first, though. :)

On Hold

The book I'm writing is currently on hold. Let me tell you why.

Before beginning to write the novel, I had already envisioned the plot, the characters, and the setting. So there I was, happily typing out the scene that I'd planned when all of a sudden, a very interesting thing popped up in my mind. By 'thing', I mean a completely different storyline. It's absolutely different from the first one, but I'm pretty sure it'll be just as intense as the original plot.

Now, I can't decide which one to use. I like the concept of both of the plots so I can't decide if I should just stick to the original one or use the new plot. I think I need to contemplate first and seriously think things through before I make any rash decisions.

Will update again once I've made my choice. :)

Slow week (or month)

How's the book I'm supposed to be writing coming along, you may ask. Didn't I mention that before? Yep, I'm planning to write a book. Though admittedly, I'm not a very good writer, but I love writing so we'll see how it goes. Sadly, I have not been able to write a single thing since I last mapped out my plans for the plot about a month ago. Now here comes my usual excuses - too busy with school, exams, research, etc. But in defense to myself, it is actually true. I really have been busy lately. Add that to the fact that I always seem to be not in the mood to write anything. No new idea seems to be popping up. Oh well, I need inspiration. Or maybe I just need to finish everything else that I'm doing right now.

I do hope that I get back to writing soon as I would really like to finish this book. That's all for now. I still have an exam to study for!

Why I started this blog

WI've been blogging for more a year now, and though I can say that how I write has greatly improved, I'm still not that much satisfied with it. Up to now, I still worry over my grammar, punctuations, and sentence styles. Sometimes, even my spelling!

What does that have to do with this blog, you may ask. I'm still not sure but I'm planning to keep this blog as a repository of my thoughts on things that care about and passionately stand up for. I already have three other blogs. One of which is Quintessential Babble, which serves as my sort of personal blog. The other one is Reality Bites. . . Fiction Does It Better!, wherein I write about one of my favorite things - BOOKS! And the third one is Read. Write. Love., which I just started a couple of months back, and mostly contains some of my rantings, as well as random thoughts about TV shows, books, etc. I plan on keeping this blog more, let's say, "professional". That means the cutoff of 'smileys', 'LOL's', and 'Haha's'.
